As EARLI aims to organise its Biennial Conferences throughout the various European countries, we do our utmost to ensure that we rotate between Europe's geographical regions all while working hard to offer an interesting scientific and highly qualitative conference to our members.

It is expected that bids are submitted by EARLI members who have previous involvement with the EARLI conference at some level. This helps to ensure a degree of continuity of organisation, themes, topics and style across our conference editions.

We encourage interested bidders to contact us at any time on, after having read the basic conference requirements for organising the upcoming EARLI conferences, which you can find here. The requirements also describe the formal procedure for an academic institution to apply to host an EARLI conference. The EARLI office is available to interact with interested parties in order to improve expressions of interest to the point that they constitute a complete bid proposal.
